An intense supremacy battle between Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) and Boko Haram rival faction have resulted to the death of over 100 terrorists in the Lake Chad region. The incident occurred on the island of Toumbun Gini in Abadam Local Government Area on August 3, 2024.
