PEPT Delivers Judgement In Obi, Atiku's Petition Against Tinubu Wednesday ***President's Mandate "II be Affirmed– Ngelale

Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) has fixed Wednesday, September 6, to deliver judgement on two separate petitions filed by the Presidential Candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, and his Labour Party (LP) counterpart, Mr Peter Obi.  The duo are challenging the declaration of Bola Tinubu as the winner of February 25, 2023, presidential election by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).  News Rider reports that Tinubu polled a total of 8,794,726 votes to emerge winner of the most controversial election. Atiku’s Campaign DG In Rivers Escapes Assassination, Indicts Wike

        Dr Abiye Sekibo’s vehicle riddled with bullets The Director-General of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Council in Rivers State, Dr. Abiye Sekibo, escaped assassination on Thursday.  BOblog learnt that gunmen dressed in police uniform opened fire on Sekibo’s Land Cruiser bulletproof jeep at Rainbow Town in Port Harcourt. The incident happened at about 11:30pm to 12:00 midnight on Thursday when Sekibo went to inspect the venue of a proposed presidential rally of his party. He confirmed the attack while addressing journalists at his residence on Friday, adding that policemen attached to the Government House, Port Harcourt were behind the attack as directed by the state governor,  Nyesom Ezenwo Wike.
