How Whitemoney Won 6th Edition Of BBNaija's N90m

The 6th edition of Big Brother Naija reality television show, 'Shine Ya Eye' ended amid fanfare yesterday night as Whitemoney clinched the coveted prize of N90 million, just as Liquorose emerged the first runner-up.

At the grand finale which took place in Lagos, the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced the eviction of Emmanuel, followed by Angel and Cross, thereby leaving Whitemoney and Liquorose as the top two contenders. 

Born Hazel Onou on July 6, 1992 , the 29-year-old winner was described by Big Brother as the 'Resident Chef' and 'Mazi' during the last diary session yesterday due to his love for cooking and showcasing Igbo tradition while in the house. 

Whitemoney, who hails from Enugu State spent a total of 70 days, which culminated into 10 weeks in the house to emerge the winner. 

His well-articulated standpoint on issues, skills and composure during the show were part of the reasons that earned him the highest vote.   

As an entrepreneur and businessman, Whitemoney had the intent of winning the coveted prize right from his entry at the house.

Whitemoney had ventured into several businesses for survival when he said, "I’ve done photography, fixed tiger generators, and fixed telecommunications masts; all because of the hustle and bustle”.

The organisers said that Whitemoney would be rewarded with a N30million cash prize, one SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; a trip to Dubai for two packaged by TravelBeta; a trip for one by Guinness to Seychelles; a year’s supply of Pepsi, and among other prizes.

Nigerian music artistes, Made Kuti, Ajebo Hustlers, BBNaija season five winner, Laycon and ex-housemate Avala also thrilled the audience with scintillating performances to signal the end of the show.
