Sammie Okposo Apologises To Wife For Absconding With US-based Lady

Nigerian gospel artiste, Sammie Okposo has tendered unreserved and public apology to his wife, Ozioma for absconding with an American-based lady and desecrating their marital vows. 

This is coming barely 24-hours after a lady identified as African Doll accused Okposo of impregnating and dumping her.

In an interview with Obodo Oyibo TV’ on Monday, African Doll claimed that the gospel singer became hostile to her after she told him she was pregnant.

She said that they met in Dallas during one of Okposo’s tours, became close and started an affair, which resulted to the pregnancy. 

Famous for one of his sound tracks, ‘Wellu Wellu', Okposo, who posted the apology via his Instagram handle, sammieokposo, also extended his apology to all the preachers of the gospel for his moral failure and behaviour, just as he pleaded to God for forgiveness. 

To this end, the gospel singer stated that he would suspend himself from all ministry work until full restoration, as he work towards making peace with God and repenting from his sinful ways. 

According to him, “To my wife, Ozioma, I am sincerely sorry I put you through this shameful and embarrassing situation. I broke your trust and disappointed you. Your forgiveness of my moral failure and poor judgment is important to me. I pray I will eventually be able to build back the trust and confidence every single day for the rest of my life."

The Apology

“I need to bring a very unfortunate incident to your attention as I am not proud of it but that this is the right thing to do."

"On my recent trip to the USA (Late 2021) I got intimately involved with a lady, knowing that this was not appropriate as a married man and a minister of the gospel. I am ashamed and regret my actions as it has caused a lot of pain to my dear wife Ozioma, my family, and me". 

"As I work in making peace with God, repenting and asking for His forgiveness.I am suspending myself from all ministry work until full restoration as this is what is proper and what I know I owe God and His people."

I regret any pain or disappointment that this news of moral failure and poor judgment may cause you and I am truly sorry for disappointing you. I humbly ask that you continue to pray for me...", he concluded.

EHCON Unveils Technology To Phase-out Emissions, Protect Public Health

BY CHIKA OKEKE, Abuja The Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON) has unveiled a technology meant to phase-out Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and protect public health from emerging diseases, in line with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.  Tagged Oxytane Fuel Additive, it is designed to enhance engine performance, increase fuel efficiency by over 25 percent, and reduce harmful emissions by up to 70 percent. It has been tested on high-capacity generators, including at the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation. Oxytane works by cleaning fuel injectors, removing carbon deposits, and improving combustion in petrol, diesel, and kerosene engines.
