EPO Perm Sec, Ibrahim Pledges Improved Service Delivery

The newly redeployed Permanent Secretary of Ecological Project Office ( EPO), Mallam Shehu Ibrahim has pledged improved service delivery as he officially resumed duties at the project office. 

Until his appointment, Mallam Ibrahim was the Permanent Secretary of Political and Economic Affairs, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation  (OSGF). 

Speaking at the handing-over ceremony in Abuja over the weekend, Ibrahim appreciated the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha for providing a conducive work environment, promising to initiate programmes that would bolster the image of EPO. 

He reassured of his loyalty, dedication and commitment on the job, with a promise to surpass his past records. 

Ibrahim thanked the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Dr Folashade Yemi- Esan for the redeployment, vowing to deliver on his new assignment.

He lauded the immediate past Permanent Secretary, who is now the Special Adviser to President Muhammadu Buhari on Policy and Coordination, Dr Habiba Lawal for her enormous contributions towards the growth of the project office. 

Ibrahim further lauded Dr Lawal for her outstanding achievements as seen during the launch of her compendium on ecological emergencies in Nigeria. 

He assured the staff and management of EPO that he would work as a colleague and family with everyone without bias, adding that he would study the handing over notes to have a full grasp of the workings of EPO. 

Responding, Dr Lawal advised the staff to cooperate with the new permanent secretary for improved service delivery, saying that he's competent and resourceful  to manage the office.  

On his part, the Director, overseeing the office of the Permanent Secretary, Dr Famous Eseduwo was grateful for the opportunity to seve as the acting permanent secretary within the short period. 

He stated that the handing over notes would provide the permanent secretary with all the needed information during his overseeing capacity.

National Parks Panacea In Mitigating Climate Change- Olory

Emerging Diseases: EHCON Faults Health Workers For Neglecting PPEs
