President Muhammadu Buhari has renewed the appointment of the Director-General, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC), Prof. Mojisola Adeyeye for a final term of five years.
This is even as the President re-appointed the Director-General of National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Mr Lanre Gbajabiamila for a final term of four years.
While Adeyeye's reappointment takes effect December, 2022, Gbajabiamila's tenure renewal was effective November 21, 2022.
These were contained in a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr Boss Mustapha and issued by his Director of Information, Mr Willie Bassey in Abuja on Saturday.
President Buhari also ratified the appointment of the Corp Marshal/Chief Executive Officer, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Dauda Biu for an initial term of four years.
This takes effect from December 23, 2022.
In addition, five executive directors were reappointed in four of the nation’s River Basin Development Authorities.
