Celebrities Mourn As Yoruba Actor, Kamal Adebayo Dies

Celebrities have expressed shock over the death of a Veteran Yoruba actor, Kamal Adebayo, known as Sir Kay.

The deceased was also the father of popular skit maker, Abidemi Adebayo, fondly called Isbae U or Bae U Barbie on social media.

Kamal Adebayo's death was announced by the  Chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, Musiliu Akinsanya, aka MC Oluomo, on Tuesday via his Instagram page .

MC Oluomo wrote, “It is with a heavy heart that I announce the passing of Alhaji Kamal Adebayo, Sir Kay. May Allah grant him eternal rest. RIP Sir Kay.”

But other celebrities such as Yomi Fabiyi and Faithia Williams also sent in condolences through their Instagram pages.

Sharing the picture of  a lit candle, Faithia Williams, wrote, “What a life. God… Sir Kay”, accompanied with crying emojis.

Yomi Fabiyi who shared a picture of the deceased wrote, “O di gba kan naa, Sir K Warrior. Wabili Kabbar. RIP senior man. I’m weak.”

As of the time of filing of this report, Isbae U is yet to speak or release an official statement about his father’s death.

The comedian had gifted his father a sum of N1 million naira on his birthday in August 2022. 

Bea U is also an actor like his father, a singer, video director and Instagram sensation making waves and gaining recognition with his creative content.

He is one of Nigeria’s leading comedy brands and had worked with Toyin Abraham, Mr Macaroni, Oluwadolarz, Kemz Mama, Mummywa, and Kiekie.

CCB, NILDS Endorse CIFCFIN Agenda To Eliminate Fraud
