43-year-old Sanusi Now Emir Of Dutse

The 43-year-old Hameem Nuhu Sanusi has emerged as the new Emir of Dutse following a unanimous selection by the seven kingmakers of the emirate.

Sanusi is the son of the late Emir of Dutse, Dr Nuhu Muhammad Sanusi II.

The appointment which was approved by the Governor of Jigawa State, Muhammad Badaru and backed up by the kingmakers of Dutse Emirate Council, was effective from February 5, 2023.

BOblog reports that the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Abdulkadir Fanini, presented the appointment letter to the new Emir at the Garu Palace in Dutse on Sunday, February 5.

The late Emir of Dutse, who ruled the emirate for 28 years, passed away at Cedercrest Hospital in Abuja on January 31 after a brief illness.

Until his appointment, the new Emir, who was born in 1979, held the title of Dan’iyan Dutse.

Represented by Alhaji Abdulkadir Fanini, the governor congratulated HRH Sanusi on his appointment and wished him a successful and peaceful reign.

The new emir thanked the governor for finding him worthy of the position, just as he promised to justify the confidence reposed in him.

While promising to operate an open door policy, he requested the support and cooperation of everyone in the emirate for a successful reign.

EHCON Unveils Technology To Phase-out Emissions, Protect Public Health

BY CHIKA OKEKE, Abuja The Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON) has unveiled a technology meant to phase-out Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and protect public health from emerging diseases, in line with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change. Tagged Oxytane Fuel Additive, it is designed to enhance engine performance, increase fuel efficiency by over 25 percent, and reduce harmful emissions by up to 70 percent. It has been tested on high-capacity generators, including at the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation. Oxytane works by cleaning fuel injectors, removing carbon deposits, and improving combustion in petrol, diesel, and kerosene engines. It is used for personal vehicles, generators, and industrial equipment.
