Obidient Movement Holds Nationwide Rally For LP Presidential Candidate

Barely seven days to the 2023 general elections, the Obidient Movement organised a nationwide rally in support of Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his vice, Senator Datti Baba-Ahmed.

This was even as the march was carried out across the 36 States including the Federal Capital Territory, likewise some cities around the world.

A statement issued by the organising committee of the event on Saturday in Abuja, revealed that the Obidient 100 million Global March would set the stage for the creation of a new Nigeria if Obi would be elected the president on Saturday, February 25.

The statement was endorsed by the Lead Global March, Mr Kingland Justin; founder of 100 million March, Prof. Chris Nwaokobia; Head of Support Groups, Mrs Nina Atalor, and Head of Strategy and Operations of Obidient Global March, Marcel Ngogbehei.

Justin disclosed that the rally provided an opportunity to unveil the last phase of their three-stage strategic approach meant to recover back Nigeria.

"The first stage was strategic positioning, where we identified a reputable candidate that represents the aspirations of the youth and worked hard to put him out there.

”The second stage is where we mobilised and used the power of the masses to generate unparalleled resources and capability, a deviation from the structures that hinder performance in governance.

”We volunteered and raised resources to ensure the incoming president doesn’t have political baggage that will hinder him from working for Nigerians," he said.

Justin noted that their approaches signaled the beginning of a new era in Nigeria, adding that Nigerians must step up to regain back their country.
