Dana Air Showers Chef Baci, Mum With Free Flight Tickets

Determined to reward greatness, Dana Airline has showered Chef Hilda Bassey Effiong known as Hilda Baci with one- year free flight tickets for all her domestic travels.

In addition, the airline also gifted Linda's mum, who is also a Chef with three months of local flight tickets for free. 

This comes as  Akwa Ibom-born Baci broke the Guinness World record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. 

Dana Air is one of Nigeria's leading airlines with daily flights to major cities in Nigeria.
Baci started cooking on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the venue of the cook-a-thon, Amore Gardens in Lekki, Lagos State. 

The 27-year-old had used over 100 different dishes since turning on her cooker at 3 p.m on Thursday. She had already cooked for over 98 hours as at the time of filing this report. 

With the feat, she surpassed Chef Lata Tondon who set the record with 87 hours 45mins in Rewa, central India in 2019. 

The Chief Operating Officer of Dana Air, Ememobong Ettete, noted that the airline had always supported craft, creativity, efforts, and innovations of young people who embodies the true Nigerian spirit as a proud brand. 

"We have always blazed the trail in terms of support for the arts and entertainment industry, health care, and culture and our corporate social responsibility has been all-encompassing.

"We will be supporting Hilda's local travels for one year and we are inspired by her strength and determination for greatness. 

"We understand her mum is also a chef and she must have gotten this inspiration from her and in the light of this, we shall be supporting her mum with three months of local flights for free", he added.

Ettete appreciated Hilda's mum for giving birth to an amazing daughter and for being a huge support system to Hilda.

Emerging Diseases: EHCON Faults Health Workers For Neglecting PPEs
