Ganduje Emerges APC National Chairman, Bashiru Secretary

The former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has emerged the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).

This is even as Senator Ajibola Basiru was elected as the National Secretary at the 12th NEC meeting of the APC held at the Congress Hall of Transcorp Hilton on Thursday in Abuja.

Acting National Chairman, Senator Abubakar Kiyari, disclosed this while addressing newsmen shortly after the executive session of the committee.

He noted that the election is in line with Article 13(2), adding that NEC transferred its powers to NWC to fill other vacant positions in the administrative organ of the party.

Barrister Mustapha Abubakar later administered the oath of allegiance on the two leaders.
