#CHIVIDO2024: Singer Davido Lavishly Marries Partner, Chioma

It was a gathering of billionaires as Nigeria's multiple award-winning musician, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido married his longtime partner, Chioma Avril Rowland. 

Habour Point Centre, Victoria Island Lagos, venue of the traditional marriage was lit with showy display of colorful Asoebi fabrics on Tuesday, June 25. 

It was spiced up with the grand entrance of the Oni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi at the venue of the wedding ceremony.

The monarch, who appeared in white attire and beaded crown, was seen greeting the dignitaries shortly after his arrival. 

Aside the pomp and pageantry that laced the occasion, the  centre was packed with notable personalities such as governors, socialites and celebrities. 


Media personality and BBNaija TV host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, hosted the wedding ceremony of Davido and Chioma.

Sharing stunning photos of himself on his Instagram handle on Tuesday, Ebuka wrote: "Host #CHIVIDO2024 🎤"

Dignitaries that graced the occasion are Davido's uncle, who is the Governor of Osun State, Sen Ademola Adeleke; former Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola; Abia State Governor, Alex Otti; Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and Davido’s Personal Logistics Manager, Isreal dmw.  

Others are former President Olusegun Obasanjo; former Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel; Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State; his Ogun State counterpart,  Dapo Abiodun, and Senator representing Edo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Daisy Danjuma.

Also, President Bola Tinubu’s son, Seyi Tinubu; Nollywood Actress, Ini Edo; Activist Very Dark Man; Singer Paul Okoye; Socialite Obinna Iyiegbu fondly called Obi Cubana; Davido's Cousin, Adebayo Adeleke also known as B-Red; 2023 African Player Award of the Year winner, Victor Osimhen; Celebrity Bar Man, Cubana Chief Priest, among others. 

In the spirit of the celebration, GAC Motors doled a brand new Sport Utility Vehicle, GN8 MPV as a wedding gift to the couple. 


The white SUV with inscription as CHIVIDO was unveiled after the couple received blessings from their parents at the venue. 

News Rider reports that since the couple released their pre-wedding photoshoot on Sunday, June 23, the social media have been awash with the hashtag #CHIVIDO2024.

National Parks Panacea In Mitigating Climate Change- Olory

Emerging Diseases: EHCON Faults Health Workers For Neglecting PPEs
