Abuja Building Collapse: Two Dead, 40 Persons Trapped

At least, two persons have been confirmed dead and over 40 trapped after a storey building collapsed in the Sabon Lugbe area of Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.

The building, which is still under construction is sited in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).

It collapsed about 5 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2024, while the victims were still inside the building.

A source who spoke on condition of anonymity pleaded with the relevant government agencies to urgently assist in rescuing persons still trapped under the rubble.
