Synergy Crucial To Unlock New Opportunities, Minister Tells Professional Bodies

The Minister of State for Works, Hon Bello Muhammad Goronyo has informed professional bodies that synergy is crucial in unlocking new opportunities. 

This was even as he noted that collaboration will strengthen socio- economic foundation of professional networks. 

Goronyo disclosed this at the second Annual General Meeting of Sokoto Professionals Network (SPN) with the theme: "Year of Consolidation and Progress" in Sokoto State recently. 

News Rider reports that the network was designed for professionals to make valid contributions toward the development of the state. 

He noted that the theme was relevant at a time when unity and progress are needed for the growth of the state and Nigeria generally. 

Goronyo urged members of the association to remain steadfast and continue to leverage their knowledge and skills for more successful career. 

He applauded SPN for assembling professionals that would fast-track development in the state, assuring that the Federal Government is willing to support them. 

The minister said: "This is a transformative step towards strengthening our socio-economic foundation, unlocking new opportunities and unleashing the potentials for progress."

Governor of Sokoto State, Ahmed Aliyu commended the initiative for its strategic approach aimed at fostering development in the state.

Aliyu, who was represented by his Senior Special Assistant on Political and Legal Matters, Barr. Ghandi Umar Mohammed encouraged the participants to utilise the opportunity provided by the workshop for their personal and professional growth.

Chairman of SPN, Engr. Zayyanu Tambari Yabo informed that the network was formed to bring sustainable development in the state through capacity building for professionals. 

He hinted that since the network was inaugurated over a year ago, that about 100 youths have been trained on solar installation and maintenance techniques, adding that the beneficiaries are now gainfully employed, while some are employers of labour.

He reaffirmed their dedication to foster sustainable development in the state by empowering professionals to drive transformative change for generations to come.

EHCON Seals Deal With SEPHON, EPHPAN, WAHEB To Revamp Environmental, Public Health

Emerging Diseases: EHCON Faults Health Workers For Neglecting PPEs
