As the brouhahaha created by his breakup announcement with wife, Annie Macualay is yet to settle, one of Nigeria's legendary musicians, Tuface has again ignited another social media frenzy.

This time around, the 'If Love Is A Crime' crooner is seeking to marry Edo State lawmaker, Hon Natasha Irobosa Osawaru, a situation that confirmed his years of affairs with the lawmaker.

Osawaru is the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly representing Egor Constituency under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Born on November 14, 1993, in Egor Local Government Area, Natasha is the grand daughter of Chief Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion.

News Rider reports that Innocent Idibia popularly called Tuface or 2baba stirred a controversy on Monday with his sudden appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly during plenary on Monday, February 11, 2025.

As Nigerians were in a fix on why Tuface appeared during the plenary, others felt that the legendary singer used the opportunity to confirm his rumuored love affair with the lawmaker.

To douse the tension ignited on social media, Tuface addressed the controversy in a video post on his Instagram handle on Wednesday.

He said: “Yes, I love her. I want to marry her.”
"I said what I said. All of us will be alright… Honourable Natasha, I see she has been dragged, she has been called all sorts of names. She has been labelled as a home breaker. She is a young, brilliant and amazing woman."

The singer also kicked against reports that the lawmaker caused the crisis in his marriage of over one decade.

He said: "She has nothing to do with what’s happening between me and Annie. But I see everybody trying to allegedly want to rope her into everything. Yes, I love her. She is amazing, she is cool, I want to marry her."

Briefly
Tuface shattered the social media space on January 26, 2025, when he announced his seperation from his wife, Annie via his Instagram handle.

He revealed that he and Annie had been separated for a while and already filed for a divorce.

Tuface said: "Hello to my beautiful people of all federations. Well, this thing I have to say is short but also long. Annie Macaulay and I have been separated for a while and have filed for divorce.

"I would grant a press release soon to say my story—not because it is anyone’s right to know about my personal life, but because I love my people, and I need them to know my innocence or offence. Stay blessed, my people. I love you all."

But with the tension ignited by the announcement, Tuface quickly recanted and said that his account was hacked.
Some minutes later, Tuface shockingly confirmed that his account had not been hacked and that the separation and divorce were real.

He later released another statement when he said that: "Annie stood by me when I was living my life and having children everywhere, but that doesn’t mean she’s a saint. I stopped cheating on her after the last time I cheated and apologized. I’m a changed man now. I had to forgo my joy—having multiple women—for her out of love. Do you think I just left her for no reason? I am single and searching for True Love again. I know better than destroying Annie’s reputation on social media."
