ANSEC Approves Strategic Projects, Praises Soludo On Governor Of The Year Award

The Anambra State Executive Council (ANSEC) has approved contract for the development and publication of the electronic database of revised Anambra State laws and associated services. 

It was awarded to Lextech Ecosystem Ltd was at the cost of N89,139,000.00.

Also, the contract for the supply and installation of state-of-the-art medical equipment at the State Trauma Centre, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital (COOUTH), Amaku Awka was awarded to Oxygen Healthcare Ltd for N2,193,772,108.00.

At its 5th meeting on March 3, 2025, in Awka, the contract for the 2-IN-1 Urban Regeneration Projects at the Chinua Achebe International Airport, Umueri, was awarded to Zhontiang Construction Company at the cost of N273,026,399.67.

Foremost Security Company, Stansol Synergy Ltd will supply and install security equipment in the new Government House & Governor’s Lodge, Awka, at the cost of N131,627,533.73.

In addition, Zhontiang Construction Company was awarded the contract for the construction of bumper car building, drivers’ lounge, and covered walkway at the Solution Fun City, Awka, at the cost of N545,697,137.00.

ANSEC also congratulated Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo on his recent award as the Sun Newspaper's Governor of the Year. 

The award, received in Lagos, was dedicated to the Solution Team of ANSEC, stakeholders, and the people of Anambra State.

News Rider reports that the council commended Governor Soludo's launch of the Anambra Geographic Information Service (ANAMGIS), a significant milestone in the state's efforts to modernise land administration.

ANAMGIS provides an automated land authentication and certification system, making it easier for Ndi Anambra to access land services.

As the Soludo administration approaches its 3rd anniversary on March 17, 2025, the council noted that the week-long celebrations will feature the commissioning of major projects, including those in Okpoko, Ogbaru Local Government Area. 

Okpoko, which was once the largest urban slum east of the Niger, has been transformed into a model of urban regeneration.

EHCON Seals Deal With SEPHON, EPHPAN, WAHEB To Revamp Environmental, Public Health
