Suberu Foundation Congratulates FRSC On Africa Best Road Safety Award

The Dr. Yusuf John Suberu Foundation extends its warmest congratulation to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed for winning the prestigious Kofi Annan Road Safety Award as Africa Best Road Safety Agency.

The prestigious award ceremony was recently held at Eswatini.  

Founder of the organisation, Dr. Yusuf John Suberu was in attendance and had the privilege of meeting with key stakeholders including the prime Ministers of Eswatini, Minister of Transportation from Cameroon and Eswatini, and United Nations Special Envoy on Road Safety, Mr. Jean Todt. 

The achievement underscored Nigeria's commitment to reducing road crashes and promoting safety, aligning with the foundation's mission to empower communities, advocate safer road, provide support for crash victim and foster positive change.

 As an organisation dedicated to supporting national and regional initiatives, Suberu foundation is proud to be part of this journey towards a safer and more prosperous Nigeria.

The foundation's work in poverty alleviation, education, and health has positively impacted over 5,000 person's in the past year, with plans to equip 500 more youths in the Federal Capital Territory with diverse skills to foster financial independence and self-employment. 

Suberu noted that the award is a  testament to the impact of collective efforts in driving meaningful change.

He commended FRSC for the remarkable achievement and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that will promote road safety, poverty reduction, and sustainable development.

The foundation assured continued collaboration with government agencies, international organisations, and local stakeholders to amplify its efforts and create a brighter future for Nigerians.

CCB, NILDS Endorse CIFCFIN Agenda To Eliminate Fraud

EHCON Seals Deal With EPHAN On Sustainable Environmental Solutions
