BY CHIKA OKEKE, Abuja The Oodua integrity group has allegedly accused the Nigeria Police Force for conspiring with desperate indigenes and politicians to forcefully sale off lands belonging to Ibusa community in Oshimili North Local Government Area of Delta State, This was even as the group alleged that the lands were purportedly sold in order to garner the finances needed to secure the release of Fred Ajudua To this end, the group pleaded with the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Kayode Egbetokun to wade into the crisis by cautioning the Buffalo team of the Delta State Police Command to stay off illegal sale of lands. Ajudua’s legal troubles started in 1993, when he was accused of defrauding a German businessman of $1.43 million. The Lagos-based lawyer was found guilty of advanced-fee fraud, and was jailed.
