Exporters, Investors Move To Explore Economic Potentials In Yobe

Exporters and investors on infrastructure, agriculture and mining are set to explore the untapped and hidden economic potentials in Yobe State. 

To this end, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State alongside business tycoons like Chairman of Dangote Group, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; founder of BUA Group, Abdulsamad Rabiu and CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, Chief Arthur Eze have concluded plans to unveil a book on investment opportunities in Yobe. 

Titled: 'Export Potentials and Investment Opportunities in Yobe State: Vision 2030', the book which is written by Muhammad Alwali Kazir, will be launched on March, 2026, in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory. 

Others expected to honour the book launch are Governor AbdulaRazaq Abdul Rahman of Kwara State, His Gombe State counterpart, Inuwa Yahya, and Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Saliu Mustapha. 

Also, Governors of Niger State, Ahmadu Bago; Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State and other stakeholders will grace the book launch. 

The book which captured most of the mineral resources and agricultural produce, revealed how exporters and investors could explore the resources in Yobe, while the government will provide adequate security and enabling environment for the business to thrive. 

A statement by Comrade Salihu Dantata Mahmud explained that the author of the book, Muhammad is the son of a former military Governor of Kwara State and also former Chief of Army Staff,  Alwali Jauji Kazir. 

Muhammad, a versatile export and economic expert emphasised that Yobe is endowed with abundant mineral resources but yet untapped and under utilized, as many investors and exporters lacked sufficient information on how to access products and services.

Though the Yobe state investment company are working assiduously to attract investments and increase the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) but the book will serve as a literary guide for exporters and investors to explore economic opportunities in the state.

CCB, NILDS Endorse CIFCFIN Agenda To Eliminate Fraud

EHCON Seals Deal With EPHAN On Sustainable Environmental Solutions
