Tinubu Approves Postings Of 65 Ambassadors, Femi Fani-Kayode, Reno Omokri Make List

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the postings of 31 career and 34 non-career ambassadors to various countries and the United Nations. 

This is even as a former presidential spokesperson, Reno Omokri, and former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode made the list. 

The latest postings bring the number of Ambassadors to 65, just as the Senate confirmed the ambassadors-designate last December.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has already received agrément from the United Kingdom for the High Commissioner-designate, Ambassador Aminu Dalhatu. Similarly, France sent the agrément for Ambassador Ayo Oke.

In addition, the ministry conveyed the nominations of the other 62 designated envoys to all the countries concerned, including a request for their agréments in line with standard diplomatic practice.

President Tinubu also directed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs should immediately commence the induction programme for the ambassadors-designate and High Commissioners.

This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga on Friday in Abuja.

CCB, NILDS Endorse CIFCFIN Agenda To Eliminate Fraud

EHCON Seals Deal With EPHAN On Sustainable Environmental Solutions
