President Bola Tinubu has formally endorsed Obafemi Hamzat as the Lagos APC consensus candidate in the forthcoming governorship election.

The endorsement took place at a meeting with members of the Lagos Governance Advisory Council, led by Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi and Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Wednesday.

Hamzat is currently the Deputy Governor of Lagos State.
