NDIC Renews Commitment To Efficient Financial System

The Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation, NDIC, Mr. Thomson Oludare Sunday has renewed its commitment to delivering an efficient financial system to the stakeholders.

This formed part of the deliberations when the Acting National Coordinator/CEO of Service Compact with All Nigerians, SERVICOM, Mrs. Helen Lawal and members of her Management Team visited the NDIC headquarters on Wednesday in Abuja.

He lauded SERVICOM’s continued partnership in promoting service excellence, saying that   NDIC is committed to delivering its statutory mandate efficiently and strengthening public confidence in the financial system through prompt and customer-focused service delivery.

Mrs. Lawal emphasised quality service delivery as a critical measure of good governance and underscored SERVICOM’s mandate to promote excellence in service delivery across all public institutions.

She highlighted NDIC’s statutory responsibilities and commended the Corporation’s customer-focused initiatives, including the Service Level Agreement Management System, SLAMS, customer call centre and effective complaint management mechanisms.

Both NDIC and SERVICOM resolved that the Corporation would maintain its high-performance standards, sustain full coverage of over 98 percent of accounts in the banking system, efficient claims payment, staff capacity development, and service delivery enhancements as well as deepen collaboration with SERVICOM.

In recognition of NDIC’s compliance with SERVICOM standards and milestones, the agency awarded the Corporation with the Best Performing Parastatal Unit, Team D, while the NDIC Boss was recognised as the Most Supportive CEO and decorated as SERVICOM Champion.

CCB, NILDS Endorse CIFCFIN Agenda To Eliminate Fraud

EHCON Seals Deal With EPHAN On Sustainable Environmental Solutions
