Foremost Capital Commits To Standard Business Operations, Raises Asset By 250%

An asset management firm, Foremost Capital Limited has committed to attaining world-class standards at all levels of its business operations.

This was even as the company raised its assets by 250 per cent from July to December 2025.

Managing Director/CEO of Foremost Capital Limited, Emmanuel Akehomen said in Abuja, that the company also secured a BBB+ rating from DataPro, a leading credit rating agency. 
BBB+ credit rating is a medium investment-grade scored by major rating agencies, indicating that a company or government can pay its debts, but bad economic changes could upturn the company's safety.

Akehomen stated that DataPro’s BBB+ rating provided an independent assessment of its financial strength and operating capacity, a strong liquidity position, supporting its ability to meet financial obligations and manage client investment activities.

He said that the rating demonstrated the company’s growing presence and capacity within the investment management industry and provided a positive indication of the company’s direction and potential for continued improvement.

”This rating by DataPro reflects our improving revenue generation and capacity to generate sustainable earnings.

”On strong governance and risk management assessment parameters, the rating recognises the importance of our governance, risk management, internal control, and compliance structures in supporting sustainable growth.

”The SEC-licenced asset management entity’s rating reinforces our position as a fully compliant participant in Nigeria’s capital market,” he added.

DataPro is registered and regulated as a Credit Rating Agency by the Securities and Exchange Commission, SEC, as well as a Compliance Solutions and Data Protection Compliance Organisation ,DPCO. 

The MD noted that the rating was a significant milestone, validating the company’s robust governance, liquidity and operational resilience.

EHCON Unveils Technology To Phase-out Emissions, Protect Public Health

BY CHIKA OKEKE, Abuja The Environmental Health Council of Nigeria (EHCON) has unveiled a technology meant to phase-out Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions and protect public health from emerging diseases, in line with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.  Tagged Oxytane Fuel Additive, it is designed to enhance engine performance, increase fuel efficiency by over 25 percent, and reduce harmful emissions by up to 70 percent. It has been tested on high-capacity generators, including at the Office of the Head of Service of the Federation. Oxytane works by cleaning fuel injectors, removing carbon deposits, and improving combustion in petrol, diesel, and kerosene engines.
