Troops Destroy Terrorist Logistics Hub In Borno

Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) Joint Task Force (North East) in a carefully planned and intelligence-driven operation, have  successfully conducted a precision air strike on a known terrorist enclave and logistics hub located near the abandoned village of Jilli in Gubio Local Government Area of Borno State. Christopher Musa (rtd) The Federal Government has named 48 individuals and groups alleged to be financing and sponsoring terrorism, a move that may likely abrupt over 15-year insurgency in Nigeria.  Jointly published by the Nigeria Sanctions Committee (NigSac) and the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU), the list is part of coordinated measures to identify and track persons and groups linked to terrorism-related activities. Tinubu Approves N3.3trn Payment Plan To Facilitate Steady Power Supply

BY CHIKA OKEKE, Abuja President Bola Tinubu  Worried by the deteriorating electricity distribution, President Bola Tinubu has approved ₦3.3 trillion payment plan to facilitate steady power supply across the country.  The fund is expected to offset the outstanding debts under the Presidential Power Sector Financial Reforms Programme.  It followed the final review of the legacy debts that have beset the power sector for more than a decade. The long-standing debts accumulated between February 2015 and March 2025. Following verification, ₦3.3 trillion was agreed as a full and final settlement, ensuring a fair and transparent resolution.
