President Bola Tinubu on Saturday received Ex-Defence Minister, General Theophilus Danjuma (rtd.), at the Presidential Villa in Abuja. This was revealed in a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga in Abuja. Although details of the meeting were not disclosed immediately but Danjuma had been vocal on national issues especially in the areas of politics and security. The 87-year-old General Danjuma is one of Nigeria’s most influential military and political figures. Briefly Danjuma served as Defence Minister during former President Olusegun Obasanjo's first tenure, from 1999 to 2003.
